Uni Klinger UKL Disc Check Valve

Uni Klinger UKL Disc Check Valve: Wafer-Type Backflow Protection

Backflow in process lines can lead to severe equipment damage, cross-contamination, and system shut-downs. The Uni Klinger UKL Disc Check Valve (DCV) is a compact, space-saving wafer check valve engineered to deliver automatic, immediate shut-off against reverse flow in steam, liquid, and gas lines.

Designed to be sandwiched between pipe flanges (wafer type), the UKL DCV features a spring-assisted disc mechanism that functions reliably in any mounting orientation—horizontal, vertical, or oblique.

Core Features & Advantages

  • Ultra-Compact & Lightweight Design: Compact face-to-face dimensions conforming to EN 558 Part 2, Series 52 significantly reduce overall piping stress and footprint.
  • High-Temperature Performance: Equipped with high-grade stainless steel springs capable of enduring operating temperatures up to 400°C.
  • Drop-Tight Sealing: Features precision lapped seats available in standard metal-to-metal configurations for steam or optional soft seating for specialized liquid and gas processes.
  • Versatile Installation: The spring-assisted closure enables installation between flanges in any flow direction without relying on gravity.
