Leader Forged Steel Globe Valve (Socket Weld / Screwed)

The Leader Forged Steel Globe Valve (Class 800 & Class 1500) (Item Codes: FCS007 for Class 800 Reduced Bore, FCS008 for Class 800 Full Bore, and FCS009 for Class 1500) is designed for reliable flow throttling and shut-off in extreme temperature and high-pressure piping systems. Engineered per BSEN ISO 15761 and ASME B16.34, it utilizes an Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) design with a rising stem and non-rising handwheel.

Key Features & Design Highlights

Zero Seating Friction: Eliminates relative friction between the disc and body seating surface during operation to extend valve service life.
Bolted/Welded Bonnet Joint: Features a bolted body-bonnet joint with a spiral-wound stainless steel gasket and graphite filler for leak prevention. Welded bonnets are optional.
Low Emissions & Fire Safety: Die-formed graphite inner packing with Inconel wire-reinforced braided end rings and corrosion inhibitor. Qualified to API 624 / ISO 15848-1 FET and API 607 Fire Safe standards.
Self-Aligning Gland Flange: Two-piece gland flange assembly prevents stem binding by maintaining parallel alignment even under uneven bolt tightening.
Back Seating & High-Temp Sleeve: Tapered shoulder on the stem enables effective back seating under pressure. Yoke sleeve is forged stainless steel with a high melting point for wear and corrosion resistance.
Optional Configurations: Available with IBR certification, NACE MR-0175 compliance, electrical actuators, or BS 6364 cryogenic qualifications (extended bonnet).
